Poles given conditional discharge

Two Polish men who admitted using provoking behaviour outside a nightclub have been granted conditional discharges by High Bailiff Michael Moyle.Dawid Budzinski, 23, and Ksawery Gerard Walwaslinski, 24, admitted the offence committed on April 29.The court heard they’d been arrested after police received a report a woman was being harassed.In court, their advocate said it was a misunderstanding brought about because of the language barier.They were trying to be friendly - not threatening – but had been speaking Polish and both very upset about being in court.Mr Moyle said he accepted it had been a misunderstanding involving drink.
