St Marks accident

Police are appealing for witnesses to an accident in Malew which left a pedestrian with slight injuries.

A silver Renault Clio Sport V6 was being driven along the St Mark’s Road between its juntion with Orisdale Road and Blackhill when the driver lost control.

It collided with a hedge near to where a man was walking, leaving him with minor abrasions which didn’t require hospital treatment.

The driver, a man from Onchan, was uninjured though his car suffered extensive damage.
