CoMin in favour of saving pier?

There IS a genuine will within the Council of Ministers to restore the Queen’s Pier in Ramsey.

That is according to the Local Government Minister, John Rimington, who admits the long-running saga does needs resolving.

The Council of Ministers will not report back on a select committee’s recommendations on the pier’s future until next February.

However, Mr Rimington says he’s in favour of it being restored, and thinks some of his colleagues feel the same:
