Stamps commemorate Peel 50

A P50 car, made in Peel in the nineteen sixties and restored by the Manx Transport Museum Group, will be unveiled this weekend.

The ceremony will be carried out by Chief Minister Donald Gelling at the group's museum in Mill road, near the House of Manannan, on Sunday morning.

The Post Office is bringing out a set of 6 stamps to celebrate car making in the town, three are pictured here.
