Football team to pull out of Rhodes Games

by isleofman.com 19th July 2006
The Isle of Man Men's Football team is almost certain to withdraw from next July's Island Games in Rhodes.

The squad has become a victim of it's own success since winning the English Football Association League Systems Cup.

The Manx side will represent England in the European version of the competition next April.

If they progress, the second stage is due to be held at the same time as the Games.
