Mystery traffic monitors

by isleofman.com 21st July 2006

Motorists driving through Braaid crossroads have been left puzzled by the appearance of two official-looking traffic monitors.

The pair armed with clipboards and forms took note of every vehicle using the junction near St Marks for most of yesterday.

It remains unclear whether their efforts were voluntary - or part of a government monitoring scheme.
