Taxi survey meeting

by isleofman.com 21st July 2006
The Department of Transport’s troubled taxi survey was discussed by taxi operators, department officials and the study consultants at a meeting earlier this week

The 'Unmet Needs Survey' was halted shortly before TT week when the consultants involved were accused by taxi companies of adopting a high-handed attitude.

On Wednesday, the meeting at the Sea Terminal was said to have been 'full and honest' and will now allow the survey to continue.

It is hoped the a full report of the study will be available in October.
