Passenger figures slightly down

by isleofman.com 21st July 2006
Passenger figures put together by the Harbours Division show a slight decrease in passengers and traffic passing through Douglas in June.

Compared to last year, 0.6% fewer passengers arrived at he Sea Terminal, while there were 6.7% fewer cars.

Director of Harbours Captain Mike Brew says the scheduled figures reflect the TT festival dates, but the year to date figures show only slight falls.

Those falls show 5,000 fewer passengers have alighted in the Island so far this year than in 2005.
