Police are appealing for witnesses to a fight which led to a person being detained in Noble's hospital last night.

It happened at about midnight at Cambrian Place, Douglas, across the road from the former Lord Street bus station site.

Several people were arrested and police are asking anybody who saw what happened, or who recorded the incident on closed circuit television cameras, to get in touch.

If you can help you are asked to ring police headquarters, on 631212, or the anonymous Crimestoppers number, which is 0800-555-111.
