Fire investigations continue

Investigations are continuing into the cause of a blaze at a Douglas guest house.

A total of 31 guests and staff were evacuated from the Adelphi in Stanley View, and neighbouring flats.

The fire took hold in a rear outlet laundry room in the early hours of this morning and flames reached 10 metres high when it was at its peak.

Police scene of crime officers, the CID and the fire investigation team are working together on the case.
