The Department of Tourism is close to reaching agreement with the Manx Motorcycle Club to run the 2007 TT meeting.
The existing contact ran out after this year's event.
It was reported both sides were unhappy about certain things, but Tourism Minister David Cretney says the matter should be resolved shortly:
