A P50 car, made in Peel in the 1960s and restored by the Manx Transport Museum Group, will be unveiled this morning (Sunday).
The ceremony will be carried out by Chief Minister Donald Gelling at the group's museum in Mill road, near the House of Manannan.
The Post Office is bringing out stamps to celebrate car making in the town.
