The Isle of Man Ladies Football team has won the Umbro Cup in Manchester.
A 1-0 victory over Aston in the final secured its first piece of silverware.
The tournament involves teams from across the country, playing forty minute games.
It was a dream start for the team with a Gill Whittle goal only eight minutes into its first game against Acton, which was eventually drawn 1-1.
It was followed by a 3-0 win against Liverpool Federal Reserves, with goals for Dawn Georgeson, Eleanor Gawne and Donna Harrison.
The winning streak continued against Chester City Reserves, with Donna Harrison and Donna Shimmin making it 2-0.
The Manx had a rout against Chelmsford, giving them six of the best courtesy of Donna Shimmin, Ceri Purvis, Gill Whittle, Dawn Whetnall, Donna Harrison and Steph Hall. The final score was 6-0.
The goalscoring continued against Troon, with three flying past their 'keeper with no reply. Donna Shimmin was on target twice, with Bekki Cole completing the scoring in a feisty affair.
Four wins and a draw secured a place in the semi-finals against Whitley Bay, but with only 15 minutes each way and no extra-time the match look set to go to a penalty shoot out. However, with six minutes to go, Gawne whipped in another corner which was nodded in by captain Whittle.
The final saw a re-match with Acton, but this time the Manx came out winners thanks to a long range shot by Leonie Roberts.
