Former MHK declares in South Douglas

The latest candidate to declare he is to stand in November's General Election is promising to tell tax-payers the truth, without political waffle.

Phil Kermode aims to re-kindle his political career, a decade after he last served in the House of Keys.

Mr Kermode, an amulance driver with the British Red Cross, will stand in South Douglas.

He claims, if elected, he will be a true 'man-of-the-people' (audio file attached):
