The latest candidate to declare he is to stand in the House of Keys elections later this year, is hoping his combination of business acumen and youth will woo the voters.
34-year old businessman Steve Babb will be one of the youngest candidates when the Island goes to the polls in November.
Mr Babb, who works for the Water Authority, is to stand in Onchan.
He says the current government needs more people with experience like his - to oversee capital projects and safeguard the Island's economy.
