Climate change will have a significant impact on the Isle of Man's water supply, according to the Water Authority's Chief Executive, Patrick Heaton-Armstrong.
A report called "Climate Change and Water Resources" indicates summer and autumn rainfall will drop significantly, while in the winter and spring it will increase.
The report states this is likely to reduce the yield in the existing reservoirs, with the effects starting to show in the next 15 to 20 years.
