A scene of carnage will be used to educate Manx motorists about dangers associated with driving.
On Friday evening, the emergency services are staging a mock collision at the Vehicle Testing Centre in Braddan.
The police will demonstrate the latest computer technology, RELMO, to recreate the crash.
Although the accident will be staged, the from the police, fire and ambulance officers will all be able to draw on real experiences of fatal or serious road traffic collisions.
The Fire Service will talk through their actions as the cut the 'victim' out, while the Ambulance Service will explain the injuries caused by high speed trauma.
Vehicle Examiners will also be on hand to check vehicles for defects- without the risk of prosecution- and they'll offer advice on the importance of keeping them in tip-top condition.
It's hoped all drivers will take heed, be they newly qualified or experienced- to reduce the number of accidents on the roads.
