Around 3,500 watch All-Stars match

Around 3,500 fans watched yesterday’s Manchester United-Liverpool All Stars match at the Bowl in Douglas. And it was the Merseysiders who triumphed 4-3 in an exciting match which featured players from the 80s and 90s, as well as a few delighted locals. Liverpool hat-trick hero, Mark Walters, says his former team-mates enjoyed the occasion (audio file attached): And after completing a hat-trick for Manchester United, Island international Chris Bass junior admitted it was the stuff of dreams.
