Local produce scores at Southern Show.

New features at the Southern Agricultural Show, to show off local produce have been described as " a great success". The show continues at Great Meadow today with the organisers hoping the rain will hold off.Yesterday it did arrive in the afternoon but as farming correspondent John Kennaugh told listeners, it didn't stop massive interest in one new feature: The Supreme champion animal at the show was a limousin bull owned by Pippy Kermode of Orrisdale in Ballasalla ( pictured).First reserve a short horn cow from Belinda Cooil's farm at BallamodhaAnd Second reserve, Howard Quayle's Aberdeen Angus.
