Anglers rescued from water

by isleofman.com 31st July 2006
Port St Mary's lifeboat day was interrupted by a real emergency yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

A 21 foot boat with two anglers on board was swamped, in the area of the Sugerloaf Rock.

The Port Erin Atlantic 21 inshore boat went to their aid but another vessel had already picked the men out of the water.

An attempt to tow the swamped vessel in failed.
