BA Connect, formerly British Airways Regional airlines, is dropping its Luton route, from the beginning of the winter schedule.
At the same time it's increasing frequency on its Gatwick route by introducing a fourth daily return service.
A statement from the firm says passenger numbers on the Gatwick service have grown strongly since the launch of BA Connect.
They say numbers are up by 15% for the three month period from March through to June, compared to the same period last year.
From October 29 the airline will add an additional flight from Monday to Saturday, leaving the Isle of Man at 10:50 with the return service leaving Gatwick at 12:35.
On Sundays the extra service will depart the Isle of Man at 14:25 with the return service leaving Gatwick at 16:10.
Minister for Trade and Industry in the Isle of Man, Alex Downie MLC, says the addition of an extra daily return service to Gatwick will be of great benefit to both the business traveller and those going on, or returning from, holiday destinations.
In June, the airline went to the top of the list of passenger carriers on the Island, carrying more than any other airline.
