CoMin to look at energy prices

The latest energy price rises will be considered by the Council of Ministers next Thursday.

Yesterday, the Manx Electricity Authority announced it's charges will go up by 14.5% in September.

Chairman Eddie Teare says it's due to rising oil and gas prices.

Chief Minister, Donald Gelling, says it's a worrying situation which has been on the cards for some time:
