Bullying in the workplace

Bullying in the workplace is a major and growing problem according to a union boss in the Island.

Bernard Moffatt from the Transport and General Workers Union says it takes on many forms, the most common being managers intimidating junior members of staff, and groups focusing on an individual worker.

This week a company in the United Kingdom were order to pay over ?800,000 after one of its employees sued.

Mr Moffatt says trade unions are looking to develop better welfare and Human Resource services to help deal with the problem:
