Help clean our beaches

by isleofman.com 2nd August 2006
The Marine Conservation Society is appealing for help in cleaning up the Island’s beaches.

The annual cleanup of the Island’s shoreline, Beachwatch, takes place on the 16th and 17th of September.

The operation needs help collecting as much rubbish as possible to build up a picture of the state of our beaches.

Local organiser Dru Leoidsson says the aim isn’t just to clean up – but also to make sure volunteers have fun. And you can get involved in the event by calling Dru on 825903.
