A woman has been punched in the face after an argument in a Douglas nightclub.

It happened in Colours Nightclub on Central Promenade in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The woman needed to go to hospital. Police have described it as
"unprovoked". The bar was busy at the time and this "ferocious attack" would have stuck in the mind of anyone who saw it.

Police want anyone who can help with information to contact them. The woman was described as "shocked and very upset".
