Workplace bullying a major concern

Speak up to stamp out bullying in the workplace.

That is the advice from the Isle of Man's Industrial Relations Office as new research indicates people are tending to put up with offensive or intimidating behaviour.

A survey has revealed that four out of five workers have been bullied but most have not made a complaint.

Industrial Relations Officer, Ian Cochran, says employers need to show they're committed to anti-bullying policies.

He says everyone has the right to be treated with respect when they go to work.
