Seat belt campaign

You'd think we were all up to speed with road safety these days, given the amount of campaigns, initiatives and warnings out there.

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case with a number of motorists who still aren't sticking to even the most basic principles.

Forty six fixed penalty notices were issued for not wearing a seatbelt during a recent campaign carried out by the Roads Policing Unit.

Inspector Derek Flint told Edward Oldham the Unit was "frankly appalled" by the results :
