Licences recalled

by isleofman.com 4th August 2006
600 Driving Licence holders are being ordered to return them.

The Department of Transport is recalling all licences, including provisional, issued between the 6th of July and the 19th of July this year.

It because of a technical problem during printing, which means some information wasn't transferred onto the cards.

The department will be sending a letter to all those affected advising them to return the licence in the stamped addressed envelope provided.

It's keen to stress the incorrectly issued licences do not affect the holder's right to drive or their insurance liability.
