Island resident James Toseland's chances of regaining the World Superbike Championship have dimmed slightly after he took a second place and a fifth place at Brands Hatch on Sunday.
Toseland admitted he should have made changes to his bike after race one, during which the track temperature changed his rear tyre. As a result it didn't perform as well in race two.
He's now 11 points behind Nori Haga, who's 77 points behind Troy Bayliss.
Aussie Andrew Pitt, who's also made the Island his hime, came fourth in race one and third in race two. He is sixth overall in the championship.
