Bronze for Kennaugh and Bellis

by isleofman.com 8th August 2006
Manx cyclists Jonathan Bellis and Peter Kennaugh have won bronze medals riding in the Team Pursuit for Great Britain at the World Junior Track Championships in Belgium.

The British four were disappointed to only finish third in qualifying behind Australia and New Zealand, but beat France in the bronze medal ride-off.

On Saturday evening, Kennaugh won gold in the Scratch race and Jonny Bellis took silver in the Points event.

The pair go on to represent Britain in Sunday's World Junior Road Race.
