The results of a major independent review and inspection of Noble's Hospital are due to be revealed next week.
The DHSS invited the Healthcare Commission to lead an inspection of quality and standards of patient care.
The commission, which assesses NHS and independent healthcare across the British Isles, looked into all aspects of hospital life, including admissions, service planning and the management of medicine and pharmacy services.
They also requested views from the public and healthcare staff.
