Thanks for aid to Lebanon

An aid agency has extended its thanks to the Isle of Man for a donation supporting the humanitarian effort in the Lebanon.

Last week, the Overseas Aid Committee made a ?25,000 donation to Christian Aid.

Emergency communications officer, Dominic Nutt, says aid workers are grateful for the money and adds it’s particularly distressing knowing the violence could be stopped immediately.
