Historic building saved

by isleofman.com 10th August 2006
The Tourism and Leisure Minister has welcomed news that the Department of Local Government has made Farmhill Manor a registered building.

David Cretney (pictured) says he was delighted when he heard the historic building, which dates back to the 1400's, will be protected for the future.

However, he's shocked to hear the present owners want to have it deregistered, and urges members of the public to contact DOLGE to ensure it remains on the list.
