by isleofman.com 9th August 2006
"Stormbreaker" has done something Lord Voldemort couldn't do, bested Harry Potter.

The book of Alex Rider's adventures has gone to the top of the children's bestsellers list.

With the film, part shot in the Isle of Man doing good business at the box office, the book by Anthony Horowitz has pushed J K Rowling off the top of the childrens bestsellers list, ending the boy magician' nine year reign.

The film is currently the most popular British made film, pulling in five million pounds at the box office after its first week.
