TV star filming at Fairy Bridge

Tourism Minister David Cretney says a visit by a popular TV show will promote the Island without any real cost to the Department of Tourism and Leisure.

Later this month, former Hear’Say singer Mylene Klass (pictured) will visit the Island for LK Today TV – visiting the Fairy Bridge.

Mr Cretney says this is just one of dozens of TV and press appearances the Island makes in the UK and further afield every year.

The DTL estimates this coverage is worth hundreds of thousands of pounds in advertising.
