Royal show

by isleofman.com 12th August 2006
One of the highlights in the Manx community calendar continues today (Saturday).

The Royal Agricultural Show takes place in Sulby.

As well as the usual attractions, there will be the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award show trailer which is 56-feet long and 20-feet wide and on which both adults and children can test their climbing skills.

The Agriculture Minister will also present the findings of a report on the future of farming.

The report suggests initiatives which are likely to be needed to help sustain the agricultural industry.
