Johnny Wattersons Lane work starts

by isleofman.com 12th August 2006
The Department of Local Government says work on new first-time buyers homes at Johnny Watterson’s Lane in Douglas has started.

Dandara Contracting Limited will take two and a half years to create 61 three-bedroomed houses, 37 two-bedroomed houses and 18 two-bedroomed apartments.

Plans show a high proportion of semi-detached houses with private parking. The development has landscaping with formal and informal spaces for public use.

Anne Craine MHK (pictured), DLGE member responsible for estates and housing, says the site will contribute significantly to the target of building 650 approved homes by the end of 2008.
