Allan Bell declares ahead of General Election

by isleofman.com 12th August 2006
Ramsey MHK Allan Bell has announced he’s to stand for re-election in November’s General Election.

Mr Bell served on Ramsey Town Commissioners and has been MHK for the town for the past 22 years. He is currently Treasury Minister.

Mr Bell says he wants Ramsey to have strong and experienced leadership over the next five years, rather than what he terms ‘gesture politics’.

He says the next government will have to tackle problems such as pension provision, health service funding, and the need to maintain economic growth.
