Unemployment has risen slightly over the last month, according to the Treasury’s latest data.
The current rate stands at 1.5%, which means a total of 602 people are currently out of work.
Over July, 211 people signed on, but 153 signed off.
At the end of the month, the JobCentre held just 201 vacancies – one for every three of the unemployed.
