Transport Minister Phil Braidwood says bringing in an external consultant to solve noise problems at the White Hoe sewage treatment plant won’t cost extra money.
Speaking yesterday, Mr Braidwood said having a consultant working with the DoT’s experts was already part of the budget for the work.
He says it is difficult to say when the problems will be sorted out but he is eager to help nearby residents as quickly as possible.
