A spur of the moment drunken action has resulted in a man being sent to prison.
33 year old, Robert James Winrow Barlow, from London admitted taking a golf cart without consent, drink driving and driving without insurance.
Barlow is in the Island working on a film.
The incident happened in the early hours of yesterday morning [Mon].

Barlow took the cart from outside a shop at Mount Murray at 5.10 yesterday morning. His passenger was 32 year old Frenchman Andrew George Sauer.
A witness saw them taken the cart, knew they had been drinking and followed them to Douglas Road in Ballasalla.
Barlow was arrested and his alcohol level was 134 mg. The legal limit is 80.
In court this morning Barlow's advocate said it had never crossed his mind the cart was a proper vehicle because the maximum speed was 5 miles-per-hour.
But High Bailiff Michael Moyle said while it may appear comical, the action could have posed a real danger to other road users.
Taking a previous conviction for drink driving in the UK into account, Mr Moyle sentenced Barlow to 30-days in prison, excluded him from the Island for five years and banned him from driving for 30-months.
His passenger was fined ?1000.
