Fresh plans for Mount Murray clubhouse

by isleofman.com 16th August 2006
New plans to build a golf club on the site of the Mount Murray sports hall have been submitted to the Department of Local Government.

The proposals show elevation amendments to the development.

Earlier this year, Supermarket pioneer and multimillionaire Albert Gubay revealed plans to develop the new golf clubhouse at the Mount Murray complex.
Plans to build housing on the back nine holes of the Mount Murray
course were submitted three years ago but not progressed. Earlier this year, Mr Gubay said there had been no intention to cut the course to nine holes but to buy more land to keep at eighteen holes.
