Manx Gas is to announce its prices are to rise this morning.

The news comes just weeks after the Manx Electricity Authority raised its prices by 14?% – at which time Manx gas warned it might have to increase charges.

The Office of Fair Trading is due to complete a report into rising energy prices soon – this will be considered by the Council of Ministers and go before Tynwald in October.
