Ormiston inquest verdict

A VERDICT of unlawful killing has been passed at the inquest of Peter Ormiston, who was stabbed to death in Ramsey in 2004.

The inquest, held at Hyndburn Magistrates' Court on Monday, could only be resumed after the trial of his partner Ann Marie Gosling.

Father of two Mr Ormiston was 49, and met Gosling around 15 month before his death. He died after she stabbed him at the flat they shared in Ramsey.

Gosling was jailed for 4? years after pleading guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
