Peter Kennaugh won the British National Junior Points Race Championship at Newport on Wednesday evening. Jonny Bellis was sixth in the Final.
Bellis won the first qualifying heat ahead of Kennaugh, but the World Junior Scratch Race Champion stormed to victory in the Final. He finished 13 points ahead of his nearest rival as four riders gained a lap of the rest of the field.
Christopher Whorrall and Mark Christian were fourth and eighth respectively in the Under-16's Scratch Race.
