Record A-level results

by isleofman.com 18th August 2006
Record numbers of students have passed their A-levels with top grades.

As predicted, the pass rate's risen for the twenty fourth year in a row - up to
96.6%.

It has raised the question - yet again - about whether the exams are getting
easier.

Figures from the Isle of Man's Secondary Schools haven't yet been released, but it's reported that most students are "thrilled" with their results, with the vast majority achieving their desired university places.
