Animal waste plant first sod turned

The sod has been turned on the government's latest multi million pound capital project.

It will bring state of the art to animal waste processing.
The ?6 million facility is behind the Energy from Waste facility at the bottom of Richmond Hill. Its being built by Dandara Constructing and should be completed in two years. The machinery will be installed by a Northamptonshire company.

The ceremony was carried out by Transport Minister Phillip Braidwood:
