"Bingley Bullet" in fastest ever lap

by isleofman.com 18th August 2006
McAdoo Kawasaki rider Ian Hutchinson produced the fastest ever lap on a road race circuit during yesterday's Superbike race at the Dundrod 150.

The Yorkshireman clocked a speed of 130.535mph on the last lap to finish third in the event which was won by Guy Martin. Raymond Porter was runner-up.

All the top five riders officially broke the 130mph barrier - the others were Ian Lougher in fourth and John McGuinness in fifth.

This means the T.T. Course has been overtaken by Dundrod as the fastest in the world.
