Anglo Irish go for honours.

Anglo Irish Trust Company Limited says its been shortlisted for one of the most prestigious awards in the international trust sector.

The Isle of Man based company has been named as a finalist in the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Private Client Awards.
The awards are aimed at highlighting excellence amongst lawyers, accountants, barristers, bankers, trust managers, and others who work international trust business.
Anglo Irish has been nominated as a finalist in the Institutional Trust Company Team of the Year award category. The other two finalists are Ansbacher and HSBC Private Bank. The winner will be decided by an independent jury of experts.

Pauline Doyle, Director of Anglo Irish Trust, said: “This is the first time the trust company has entered for an international award, and it is therefore very gratifying to have been shortlisted".

The award winners will be announced at gala dinner on Tuesday, 26th September 2006 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
