A 25 year old man has been jailed for a total of ten months by the High Bailiff.
David Aaron Fayle of Hutchinson Square Douglas appeared for sentence after admitting two offences of burglary and one of theft.
Fayle burgled Wilson and Collins property at Balthane Industrial Estate over the night of May 4th and 5th. He then burgled a shop at Glen Falcon on May 26th but was caught in the shop by police.
He stole two consoles valued at ?225 on March 3rd and 4th, and sold them for ?156. The money was spent on food.
His advocate said that the defendant accepted custody was inevitable, and that he was in breach of suspended sentence. He said that Fayle was to leave the Island and return to his foster parents in France.
Mr Moyle activated in full a four month suspended sentence, which was included in the ten month total sentence.
